Learn MoreI love music and i love the spirituality of my culture. It was a way to tie both together. I am an advocate for mental health but often times forget to be there for myself. I was at a Shinedown concert and "get up" resonated for me. I translated it in Lakota and used my favorite colors. It happened to be suicide awareness colors (didn't do that on purpose) I put it on my forearm to remind myself to be there for me too.
If your ink could speak, what would it say? This woman has been through a lot in her life and has chosen to remain understanding and good to others. She didnt let it consume her and turn her heart ugly. Our presence on her body is her outward expression of her love for others and to care for herself just as much.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would share some of it with my mother and sister. I would invest some to save and accrue funds as well as pay ahead or pay off some bills. Finally, i would have a vacation to enjoy myself because life is about experiences and not just getting by.
