Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

I chose my first tattoo experience to be my eyebrows by chance. I didn’t really think about it and they were supposed to be temporary but even the artist who checked back was surprised they were still in good condition. I guess the answer is beauty and convenience was my inspiration. I’ve thought about neck tats to cover markings.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

I want to use tattoo art to speak my messages. I want it to say, “I’ll go with you!” And a rainbow/trans flag, a tattoo on my ring finger with my late husband’s name, Timm. My daughter’s drawing will memorialize my husband, that would also represent Native Pride. And then there is the semicolon because I grew up battling depression and self harm. What would you do with the $25,000?

I’ve lost everything. My trailer burned down and I left my car with the person who almost killed me. All I want is a piece of land to bring shelter dogs and homeless people too. I will build from the ground up but I need some land to get started. My newest dream is called, Sarah’s Success Academy which follows an old dream of a safe house for youth and anyone needing to start over, supporting each other to success.
