Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

This tattoo on my wrist is more than just ink; it's a permanent reminder of the bond I share with two of my best friends. It depicts the NYC skyline as it looked when 'Friends' first aired, including the Twin Towers. Below that iconic silhouette are the six colored dots that instantly bring the show to mind. Every time I look at it, I'm not only reminded of a fantastic TV show but, more importantly, of the laughter, support, and countless memories I share with my amazing friends

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

Beyond the beauty of the art, my tattoos are living testaments to the things that shape my world: family, friends, love. There's a unique joy in sharing the tattoo experience with my tribe, a feeling that resonates with a deeper human need for belonging. In a society that often prioritizes individualism and can feel increasingly isolating, I believe intentionally creating and nurturing our tribes is essential, and the shared language of tattoos can be a powerful tool in forging these connections

What would you do with the $25,000?

Receiving this $25,000 feels like a beacon of hope as I navigate the financial challenges following my double mastectomy. My breast cancer diagnosis in July of last year brought unexpected expenses, and this prize will alleviate much of that burden. Beyond my own needs, I'm committed to donating to breast cancer research, hoping to make a difference for others facing similar journeys. And of course, I'm definitely looking forward to celebrating this good fortune with a trip to a new place.
