Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent tattoo was the olive branch on my head. It was done at the end of a really difficult year for me. I had gone through some pretty major life changes, lost some really important people in my life. But at the same time had some amazing changes, new opportunities, and saw my life moving into a brand new direction. The olive branch to me was a symbol of new beginnings, and embracing the ups and downs of life, and enjoying the journey life has in store for me.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

To me my ink tells my life story, each piece is symbolic of where I was at in my life at that time. Each piece of art is a portal to another phase of my life, it’s the roadmap of my evolution, my growth, and my struggles and triumphs. From darkness and loss, to successes and growth. And I see all my untouched skin as the pages yet to be written, the stories yet to written, and the opportunities to forge my path in life.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Music has always been a passion in my life, it’s the thing that fills my heart with joy, and lights me up inside as an artist. I am just getting started in my music career as a DJ and that money would allow me to invest in equipment and hone my craft. I would also be using some of the money toward some new ink, I have been really focused on other areas of my life the last year, and have some artwork I really want to add to symbolize those big changes.
