My most recent tattoo is the lowest butterfly on my spine, which is for my time in Athens! I fell in love with the city, its slowed paced of life, and the monumental works of art that lined the streets. My roommate at the time had scheduled an appointment for a tattoo in downtown, so I decided to tag along and see if any of the other artists were free to add to my collection of butterflies. An incredible artist happened to be available and now I have a little piece of Athens with me forever:)
If your ink could speak, what would it say?If my ink could speak, it would say to embrace change, keep an open mind, and be fearless in expressing yourself! As we move though life, our styles/tastes will inevitably change, and it’s a beautiful thing to see that evolution unfold in the art on you’ve chosen for your body!
What would you do with the $25,000?If I won the $25,000, I would use it to pursue a career as a tattoo artist! I’ve been in love with the visual arts for as long as I can remember, and I’ve practiced years of drawing, painting, ceramics, and printmaking:) It’s always been a dream of mine to make a living with my art, and I have a massive amount of respect for the passion and talent of the tattoo artists I’ve worked with!
