My most recent tattoo was done in Vietnam and was inspired not only by my love of world culture, but specifically for the meaning in both symbols. The Ky Lân is one of Vietnam’s four sacred animals, and their presence is believed to bring good omens and protection. The inclusion of the lotus flower represents purity and serenity, both things I work towards in my everyday life.
