Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

All of my tattoos are reminders of pivotal moments and lessons I don't want to forget. One ink is above my left eyebrow done 5 years ago now... I did when I was sweating out hard drugs because I didn't want to forget that there was no going back to that life for me. I also have a small spiral done on my arm reminding me to always speak my truth.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

I have been through war, im a warrior... I understand your suffering... I understand the chaos and turmoil you feel inside, I wear it proudly... I can help you find a better way. I'm self made, came from the gutters and abandoned city scapes across the country, if I can stand up so can you. What matters most about a person is what's inside, not outside.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Pay off my back child support from when I was a homeless drug addict. The state can have every penny, I just want to be able to get my license back and redeem myself and my standing in my community. $25,000 is a small price to pay to get my dignity and my daughter back. Her Mom works in a tattoo shop, reads your magazines all the time so she can know I'm doing my best to change. I haven't seen my daughter since 2017...
