Enter For FreeMy most recent tattoo are my two demons. One demon that’s always coming forward haunting me and the second demon is always tempting me into falling into old habits. Even though I know I have demons that I am always fighting. I wear them proudly because I overcome the pain daily.
If your ink could speak, what would it say? Most pieces I got were during time of pain and feeling lost. While the other half of my tattoos are my reason for being here. Life is a balance between pain and happiness. It’s up to us how we balance the good and bad in our life while remaining righteous. No matter how hard life can be those moments of happiness out weight all the bad.
What would you do with the $25,000?I am about to be homeless because of funding being cut for my job. I worked so hard to overcome barriers to obtain my bachelors degree in science. I would pay my rent to a couple months, pay bills, buy my kids clothes they need and get groceries. Take my disabled mama to get a foot pedicure she’s been wanting so badly. The only thing I would want for myself is a pair of shoes and a tattoo. Taking care of my responsibilities and watching my family smile means so much to me.
