Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

I was walking around a tattoo convention, looking at all the different shops and their flash hoping to get something new that day. There was an abundance of anime options, and I said aloud that I wanted an anime piece done but would only get my favorite anime, Nana, tattooed. Within five minutes, we came across this booth with an entire flash sheet of Nana tattoos. The artist was newer, but it felt like fate and so I took a chance. Now, it's one of my favorite tattoos!

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

My ink would say that anything beautiful in this life comes with a little bit of pain. You have to persevere, to stay strong and keep a clear mind through the difficult points in life in order to earn the reward you're looking for. A focused mind is what helps us obtain what we desire.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I were to win, I would use the money to attend cosmetology school. I'm 20 years old, I work full-time in order to support myself, and it's been my dream for as long as I can remember to learn how to professionally do hair, along with makeup. I hope to one day own my own beauty business as well, but even after applying for student loans it's been a struggle to afford school. This competition would help me substantially, in more ways than one, and would be an absolute dream come true!
