What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent tattoo was inspired by Medusa, not the monster from myth, but the woman behind the legend. For me, she represents fierce strength, transformation, and the power to reclaim one’s voice. Medusa’s story is often told through the eyes of fear and punishment, but when you look deeper, she becomes a symbol of resilience and defiance against injustice.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

If my ink could speak, she’d say, “I am not what they feared, I am what she survived.” She’d whisper strength into my skin, a reminder that I took back my story, and turned pain into power. She’s not just art, she’s armor. She speaks for the parts of me that won’t be silenced again and the moments in my life that are only memories now.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I’d use the $25,000 to lighten the load of my student loans as I work toward becoming a registered nurse turning years of hard work into a career of care. If possible, I’d also put some toward a down payment on a home, a place to grow roots and rest between shifts spent helping others heal. For me, it’s not just about money, it’s about building a future with purpose.”
