What inspired me were artwork from some of my favorite artist like Jose Guadalupe Posada and Eduardo Robledo. Which are heavy culture related and celebrate my race and upbringing. Being born and raised in the southwest barrio arte is a proud expresión. The ink on my skin speaks generations of upbringing memories basically my body is a shrine that having no mouth still speaks loudly.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?It would shout proudly about my ancestors my religion my culture. It would speak very highly on my love for local sports and family. It would reveal the stronger side of me the barrio living with honor and respect. True pride and a corazon for the art form. The tinta is me its in my skin and covers scars and wounds. It doesnt speak it screams out ambition and hardship but roars continuation and warrior above all.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would get started on creating my own brand of clothing. I draw and have sketchbooks full of ideas. I'd like to see people wearing my artwork on hats shirts hoodie etc. Also skateboards stickers anything I can put a image on. Be a dream come true
