My ink honours my past and present. I have pieces symbolic to my Korean heritage, and pieces commemorating my path to becoming a lawyer.
You decide who will appear in Inked Magazine and take home $25,000!

Learn MoreMy most recent tattoo is of Snoopy in ODM gear from the anime, Attack on Titan. I love anime as an adult and I loved watching Peanuts as a kid, so I combined my past and present interests into one expertly crafted tattoo. As for the stellar design itself, I’m big on giving my artist as much creative freedom as possible because at the end of the day, they’re the experts and they know what will flow best with the body.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?If my ink could speak, it would most likely scream “welcome to Alethea’s human canvas Pinterest board”. My ink is a mix of all my interests - from classic Korean imagery to classic American traditional imagery - from a micro realistic trumpet (I have a degree in music) to Snoopy in Barrister’s robes (I’m now a lawyer) - I tend to visit a tattoo shop whenever inspiration hits and I think it shows in my ink.
What would you do with the $25,000?Realistically, I would probably use the $25K to help with the financial costs of becoming a licensed attorney in the States. I am currently practicing law in Canada but my boyfriend lives in California so the $25K would help with bar prep, licensing fees, and relocation expenses. Oh and … MORE TATTOOS!!
