My most recent tattoo is of a phoenix. 9 years ago I was 100 lbs, homeless, and deep in psychosis from IV drug use and a friend of mine who let me stay with him while I was homeless told me this. “When you do finally get your life together, you will rise like a phoenix. I know it and feel it, and I’m just waiting until that happens.” I have 5.5 years of complete sobriety, and I feel the phoenix represents me rising from the ashes and learning to love myself after extreme self
If your ink could speak, what would it say?Family is priceless, and it doesn’t have to be blood relations to be a true family member. I have a beautiful family and want my family to know by getting tattoos of animals that represent my family members while they are living to show them how irreplaceable they are and how much their support means to me. I love the earth and animals, and am very spiritual and each animal has an important meaning in my life.
What would you do with the $25,000?6 months after I moved home from California where I was homeless and in my addiction, my mom lost her job and her health issues have increased. I have racked up quite a bit of debt taking care of her, and paying for most of the bills and would pay my debt off and give a portion to my mom to help with her debt.
