My next tattoo is actually happening in a few weeks (after I'm healed from surgery) and it's two tats/words: GRACE - RAGE but these tattoos will be Hebrew so Grace = חסד and Rage = זעם -As a mother I teach my children no matter what you go through and how much rage you may have inside of you must remain graceful and always treat the world with grace. Hate cannot dictate our behaviors, so as part of mindfulness practice I always try to treat others and move through life with grace and kindness.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?My loved ones are a part of me and I refuse to let them disappear by keeping them with me and having the chance of talking about them when people ask me about my ink. Further I believe my ink shows my strength and character, and the things I've overcome. I also believe it let's the world know that I am a safe presence. And sure it also gives this old broad some edge.
What would you do with the $25,000?You mean besides get a lot more ink? Pay off some debts, and help fund my daughter's education as she wants to persue her masters in film at a school abroad in London. Maybe buy my husband that old hobby car for tinkering in the driveway that he's been wishing for. It will also free me up to finish working on my pet project of writing a fictionalized version of my life story. But definitely a lot more ink!
