Enter For FreeMy most recent tattoo is of a design that my tattoo artist friend made for my studio- burn & bloom. And after years of having the design on clothing- I finally got it on my body. It’s a woman’s figure with a flame as her pelvis and a flower growing out of her neck. And little flower boobs.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?I’ve always looked at my body art as a journal and each piece as a journal entry from different times and seasons of my life. So really- if it could speak it would tell the story of ME- growing up very religious, married at 17, having my first son at 18, my second at 21, navigating being a special needs parent, going through a divorce, finding myself, opening a studio, becoming self employed, and falling in love with life again.
What would you do with the $25,000?I am a yoga teacher and birth doula. I own a body movement studio in Alaska and am currently remodeling a new studio and would put the money into my new space! I’m passionate about holding space for people to heal and find freedom through movement and breath work and community and supporting women through birth of the baby and the rebirth of themselves.
