What inspired your most recent tattoo?

I was going through a rough breakup, so I did a bird cage with the bird emerging and flying out, in a neo-traditional style. I had felt trapped in this relationship and I was ready to be out of my cage and free. “Comin out of my cage and I’ve been doin just fine”. The bird flying out holds a rose in its beak to symbolize that I still carry beauty and love and that I didn’t leave that behind in the cage. I felt too as if I was healing along with my tattoo.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

It would say all the things my soul is saying. It’s hard to answer this question because I personally believe the ink is speaking for itself. The ink might give you more than what you could put into words. But! If I really had to, I’d say, it would say, each piece is individually unique and together they make up fun styles and pieces!

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would pay for school, maybe a new car, and pay off a little debt. I’m a teacher and we all know how those salaries look. And most of all, I would finish my tattoos and blast the rest of my body.
