My most recent tattoos are of a tree and its roots are vertical to it. For me, getting this tattoo was a sign of not only my growth and struggle but my balance and grounding as well. Then I have a woman coming through what seems to be a glass, I interpret that as me coming into myself. Almost like I am finally letting the real me come to life.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?Something like … this woman needs constant reminders that she’s alive. She needs reminders that she’s a warrior. A reminder that she has survived pain and dysfunction. A reminder that I have loved one’s and that I am loved by the almighty Father.
What would you do with the $25,000?I am an immigrant who has been in this country for 26 years, I was done a disservice and never received my papers. I am now married and on the path to receiving my green card. I do not believe in borrowing from this system so I have no debt. I have recently completed a dental assistant program, I work 40 hours a week and do nails on the side to save for my dental hygiene degree. This 25,000 will help towards the cost of tuition and whatever is left is going in my daughter’s Roth account.
