Learn MoreIn order to grow and thrive, the sun and moon must work harmoniously to keep us afloat. Earthly, living organisms can’t live without them. The days, seasons and years evolve, and if we’re lucky, we adapt and evolve as well. The sun and moon dance along as new dawns and new days appear, giving living organisms an adequate chance to figure it all out. Each day we choose to grow/remain stagnant and allow life to soften/harden us. If the sun and moon are patient with us, so can we.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?Hardships don’t need to harden you. I used to feel powerless over my own life, often refusing to take responsibility for how I chose to respond when life threw punches. By doing so, my body began to protest and gifted me Multiple Sclerosis. I wasn’t giving my body or mind what they needed to thrive. Now I’m more gentle with myself and give the body what it needs; water, sun, air, nutrients, appropriate climate and love- just like a plant. Humbled.
What would you do with the $25,000?I’m working at becoming a Certified Master Gardener, the program is designed to encourage community volunteering. I would like to grab supplies to teach dual gardening/mental health classes with a few community centers in the area. The remainder would help with medical debt and offer a safety net for a rainy day. Additionally, a tattoo, obviously!
