My ink represents the idea that spontaneity and legacy can co-exist, the continuation of a Filipino tradition, divine inspiration.

Enter For FreeMy cousin told me about the gamayan - a Filipino centipede that signifies the presence of ancestral spirits - and the story of how a bunch of them appeared in the apartment she moved into with her two kids after her divorce. Our last name is Centeno, and she suggested that we get them as a family.. I really resonated with her story, and had gotten a tulip tattoo after my dead grandmother came to me with one in a dream, and I wanted to connect to my family through tattoo again.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?I am my own muse - one of my spontaneous tattoos is the word "paraluman" or "muse" written in Baybayin, an ancient Filipino script. I am divinely protected - my gayaman on my arm. When I shake someone's hand, the first thing they see is my tulip tattoo - I greet others with my grandmother's perfect love. The oroborous on my back - we are surrounded by infinite beauty. The tiny branch in between my tits - get the free tattoo.
What would you do with the $25,000?I want to use part of the funds to pay it forward and get someone else a tattoo as well. I will use the rest of the funds to produce a short film I co-wrote (about 5K) and use the rest to jumpstart my dinner theater business I am looking to build in NYC.
