Amanda Hollis

I had breast cancer in 2020, and had a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction. I want a great artist to help me figure out a chest piece.

What inspired your most recent tattoo?

I'm pretty much a blank canvas right now. Since 2020 I've had 13 surgeries, and I have plenty of scars to prove that. I decided when I had the reconstruction on my breasts that I would start covering the scars with tattoos. I haven't started yet because I was waiting to find an excellent artist, and I needed to let them heal all the way. The time has passed and I'm ready to start getting inked up!

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

It would say that I'm a beautiful, bad ass woman that has gone through some tough times in life and survived. It would say that I'm a fighter. It would say that I'm strong and resilient.

What would you do with the $25,000?

So, as of December 9th 2024, I've been homeless. I got evicted from my apartment in September 2023, laid off from my job once my FMLA ran out in December of 2023, and moved in with my sister that year as well. After 14 months, my sister decided she didn't want me and my daughter to live there anymore. So, I would use the money to get back on my feet and find a place to live, get furniture, and get back to living life.
