Enter For FreeMy chest piece is 3 full-bloom, blue and yellow roses with vines and leaves. I love color schemes that stray from the natural world. I chose blue and yellow for this piece because of a song by The Used, titled Blue and Yellow. The roses over my chest (w/ the intwntional absence of thorns) symbolize needing to guard my heart/emotions without causing harm to others, in the process. Basically, do no harm, but take no shit.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?It would say how important authenticity and originality are to me. The 4 floral pieces and the multi-colored cheetah-print 1/4 sleeve on my left arm speak of my femininity and it's tendency to be raw and primal, and even masculine, simultaneously. The song lyrics on my wrists, "Live Love" "Burn Die", are a mantra that I strive to live by. It is a promise to myself to LIVE life rather than just existing, LOVE wholly and freely, and BURN with passion and purpose, so I can DIE
What would you do with the $25,000?I have always wanted a cohesive back-piece (nape of neck through buttocks) of a moonlit forest scene with all of the original Universal Studio monsters and a few additional classic monster characters, such as Nosferatu and The Munsters, scattered through-out, done hyper-realism black and grey style, with a few select characters being done in vivid coloring for contrasting technique. My expensive taste will come with a hefty cost, so a good chunk of the $25K will go to financing this.
