My ink tells my journey in art. I started my tattoo career with a few. I love that as I advance in the industry, so do my tattoos!
You decide who will appear in Inked Magazine and take home $25,000!
Want to learn more about this competition?
Learn MoreGrowth inspired it. I revisited the first tattoo I ever did- a small flower on my calf as an apprentice. Since I work the same hours as most artists, it’s hard to get tattooed. A rare cancellation gave me the chance to explore new ideas, adding a bee and matching flower to test new color blends-and celebrate how far I’ve come.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?“Look how far we’ve come-and how far we’ll go.” My ink tells a story of second chances, growth, and the vibrant evolution of tattoo culture. From apprenticeship tattoos to pieces by artists I admire, each one reflects the styles, connections, and creativity I’ve been lucky to experience. This career moved me across the country, provided for my son, and welcomed me into a community I’m proud to celebrate with every piece I wear.
What would you do with the $25,000?I’d launch a first-of-its-kind platform that redefines how tattoo artists share their work, connect, and grow-far beyond social media. Our industry thrives on culture and experience, yet has never had a space that truly celebrates both. This $25K would ignite a ground breaking concept-blending artistry, community, and innovation-to expand opportunities for artists and show-case tattooing like never before.
