My tattoos share my Hare Krishna upbringing. Indian gods & goddesses in American trad style. Plus my love of skateboards, motos, and punk.

What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My latest tattoo is Narasimha, a half man, half lion Hindu god. He is ripping out the guts of a demon with his nails. Growing up with this deity in my home, I felt empowered by how simply he shredded apart his enemy. Bonus: the Cro-Mags used his image on their Best Wishes album.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

Don’t hold back. Live feral and free.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I’m looking to start an Arts collective with friends in Seattle. We envision a shared space that offers all ages punk shows, jam rooms, Harley repairs, skateboard ramps, sign painting, tattooing, and more. This DIY space is what Seattle desperately needs more of. And my band Distest is self-releasing our first album and would use any remaining funds to produce vinyl, cassettes, and merch.
