What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My arm tattoo—a forest where trees transform into sound waves spelling “I love you”—is a tribute to my grandmother. She stepped up at 60 to raise my siblings and me, taking us to court to gain custody and provide us with a loving home. From 2021 to 2023, we nearly lost her multiple times due to strokes and seizures. This tattoo symbolizes her unwavering strength, love, and the profound impact she has had on our lives.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

If my ink could speak, it would say, “You are here because of love, strength, and sacrifice.” It would echo my grandma’s words—“I love you”—and remind me of her courage in raising us when she didn’t have to. It would speak of blessings, even in hard times, and the unbreakable bond that keeps us grounded like the trees in my tattoo.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With the $25,000, I would start my patchwork leg sleeve to visually tell my life story. I plan to blend Greek mythology, meaningful quotes, and powerful imagery to reflect my journey, struggles, and growth. Each piece would represent a chapter of who I am and what I’ve overcome. As well as give back to the heart and stroke foundation.
