Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

I have been battling brain cancer and psychogenic seizures for most of my life. I had a stage 2 astrocytoma removed from my left frontal lobe. Despite that I have had an immense surge of energy on the right side of my body when I should feel less. When I feel pain it feels like I am being electrocuted, hence the combination of nerves and lightning directly where I feel it. I have chosen to use my pain to understand others. The UV captured that journey and the channeling of my energy to heal.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

Her love is her strength. Her pain is her motivation. She shows love to those lost, and those with us. She is a walking symbol of triumph, and self empowerment. With the words “So worth loving” read down her spine she commands her worth and reminds those around her of theirs. She has flourished from things others have shrivelled over, and offers them understanding/compassion. She has been there. She emerged. So we all can too.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would put it towards my medical esthetics certifications, so that I can start a program for women in low income situations to receive treatments at reduced costs and free appointments to patients of various illnesses that otherwise couldn’t afford them. I would use the leftover money towards a service dog.
