Learn MoreMy most recent tattoo was inspired by the old retro board game, “Chutes ‘N’ Ladders,” which I loved to play as a kid. The imagery of chutes (downward slides) and ladders (moving upward) are used to represent the many ups and downs I’ve experienced in life. The imagery of chutes and ladders also ties together an eclectic mix of individual tattoos on my left shin and calf, uniting them into an incredibly unique half leg sleeve that reflects on the human condition.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?My ink is an expression of my colorful, adventurous personality, a commemoration of my favorite people and most important events (including a dove tattoo for my son Jonah, whose name means “dove” and several tattoos for my late husband Bruce) as well as my greatest aspirations in life! My large lighthouse tattoo signifies a burning desire to “be a light in the dark” and help others struggling with addiction, PTSD, childhood trauma and other issues that I’ve overcome
What would you do with the $25,000?I would invest up to $5000 of the money in more new tattoos! One of my dreams is to become a tattoo model, and I would love to get an amazing back piece and second arm sleeve in the next year or so. I would use the rest of the prize money to help pay off the expenses we incurred opening my yoga studio, Deep Soul Yoga + Sauna, which opened October 2024. Opening my own yoga studio was my dream come true, my #1 goal in life! Yoga has transformed my life and it’s my mission to share it :)
