my sisters. i went to visit my sister back at home (orlando). her and our step-sister had the idea to get matching tattoos as a trio. to pay homage to one of our shared and beloved childhood shows, The Powerpuff Girls, we got these tattoos in a tattoo shop that was also a bar. i was appointed Buttercup, described as the “toughest” puff.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?my tattoos are a window to what i hold close to me - my lessons, memories, beliefs that have shaped me as a person. they speak to my love for collecting meaning and honoring history and life lessons. beyond that, they serve as a way to change my perspective on my body and self image, now a canvas to cherish.
