Enter For FreeThey are almost all reminders or messages to myself, and elicit a particular feeling or thought when I see them. I most recently tattooed my chest, and when I look at it, I feel whole, at ease, and centered. It reminds me that I have everything I need inside myself, and all I have to do is reach for it.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?It would say that tattoos are living part of us, that change as we do. The meanings behind them shift, or sometimes they’re just forgotten. The ink itself settles and spreads out, so there’s no sense trying to make it look perfect. There’s more beauty in the uniqueness of their imperfections. I like my tattoos to look distressed and weathered, which actually helps them age more gracefully.
What would you do with the $25,000?I have already dedicated my life savings to tattooing my entire body, so I would use this money to start a tattoo collective of like minded, up and coming artists.
