Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

A little over 4 years ago I finally gave up. Walking home from a bar I decided it was over a cut my wrist open. I had no hope. After 12 days in a recovery center I decided to get sober and live. I've been clawing out of the holes I dug for 25 years ever since. The pheonix represents rebirth, strength, and loyalty to me. After years I found Zach Atlan to work with on this and it's been incredible. It's unfinished right now due to finances but I love it. It's been the therapy I needed.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

He's a fighter. From dying on an operating table in 2001 to suicide in 2021 He's still here. There is more he needs to do in this life. He loves unconditionally to those who deserve it, and gives everyone a chance. He never judges a book by its cover and always wants the best for others. He prefers others happiness before his own but, he could use some help too. Although he'll never ask for it.

What would you do with the $25,000?

It would be life changing. I'd be free of debt for the first time in decades. It would allow me to finally do what I want,need in life. I'd help my mom, and put some towards a charity for CJD which killed my father in 2018. I can't even express how much this would mean. Being out of work on disability right now for back issues keeps me on the edge of losing all I've worked for every week. This would absolutely change my life and finally give me the chance to live more free. Much love to ya'll!
