Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

I wanted to honor my brother and my dad who passed away in 2024 only 11 days apart. My brother died of a fentanyl overdose and my dad died from heart failure so I wanted to honor their memories. I lost my oldest brother in 2012 from a drug overdose as well so I wanted to find a way to honor them and always bring awareness to the disease of addiction.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

The woman who's body I am on is a woman of strength, grace, honor, resilience and love. Her story is one of a broken dream from the very beginning of life but through her strength she beat cancer four times, she dealt with losing her leg and being judged for every mistake she made in her life yet she rose above life a Phoenix from the flames that surrounded her and stood strong and tall with honor.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest in making a clothing line for amputees and people with disabilities because we don't have a lot of options that works with our prosthetic limbs and allows us to wear more things than sweats, dresses, shorts, tank tops, etc. I would also make a donation to a local charity I help to make food bags for kids to ensure they have breakfast and lunch on the weekends during the school year, daily breakfast and lunch during the summer and we host a community supper every 2 weeks.
