Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent tattoo was inspired by a friendship I formed with another cancer patient on Instagram. When I saw a post of her working out during chemo, I said “I’m going to be her friend”! We went through the same cancer surgery 2 weeks apart and helped each other recover and heal through social media. We share a lot in common besides cancer and one of those things is our love for the 80s comedy The Golden Girls. This past birthday we got matching Golden Girls themed tattoos.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

If my ink could speak it would say I met you as a rebellious teen. I watched you grow, mature and saw your taste change over the years. I helped you through the darkest time of your life when parts of me were cut and destroyed forever. You made it to the other side and now I get to see you shine!

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the money to pay medical bills as well as helping a friend newly diagnosed with cancer. I would love to ease the burden for her a little by contributing to some of her expenses.
