Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My son died from anencephaly, a condition where my son was born without his brain and skull. I want the world to know how important he was to me. He was one of my twins. He was here and special to me and his family. When I saw all the sonograms and heard the diagnosis, all I could concentrate on was how perfect his feet were. I wanted to memorialize his feet forever, as they never walked in his life, but still tread on in my heart. Tattoos by DoBoy at Glasstown Tattoo in Crystal City, Mo.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

Caleb mattered. He was here. He was important to me. He lives in my heart. He flies with the angels. He has cute toes. I have a husband and friends that support me through everything and I would not be where I am today without their unconditional love.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Pay off part of my college loans. Help my children with their needs. Down payment on a new car.
