What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent tattoo was a large cover up piece on my back. After finally breaking free of an abusive marriage, my new spouse encouraged me to cover up the tattoo I had gotten during that time as it was a constant painful reminder. The artist covered over a small hawaiian symbol with a large, beautiful scorpion (I am a scorpio). My ex was constantly trying to prevent me from being "me" and this was a symbol to me of getting to finally be myself, as well as be loved for who I truly am.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

Every piece I have has meaning behind it. The pieces all tell a story of growth and overcoming situations that I did not think possible to overcome.

What would you do with the $25,000?

It is not very exciting lol, but I would definitely put it towards my husbands student loans and a honeymoon (after getting the sleeve I have been dreaming about lol). He is a retired PD officer, as well as a combat Veteran. He has been my rock after leaving an abusive situation and stood by my when no one else did, through some very difficult things. He believed in me when no one else did and I would love to do something that would help him and our little family.
