My most recent tattoo was the ring finger on my left hand. It says “Til Death,” which I saw and thought completely encapsulated the odd, quirky, loyal love that my husband and I have in our marriage. So when we tied the knot, I commemorated the moment.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?Every tattoo I have speaks to a specific time in my life. Encapsulated in a singular image; a portion of my journey is forever with me. From the tattoo of the butterfly on my shin for my grandmother, who taught me love, patients, and guidance. To the memorial piece on my chest for my friend who took his life after graduation. And even the birth of my first child. My art is the story of my life. The illustrations to my autobiography.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would love to start the construction to our family home in my home town in Arkansas. I would move my family to a place where they could be free to be themselves again. And I could take care of my grandma and grandpa as they settle into these slower years of their lives. They’ve taken care of us our whole lives, I’d love to give back.
