What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My newest tattoo was inspired by Hecate, Demeter, and Persephone. Each one reflects a part of me—Hecate, the guide; Demeter, the mother who loves fiercely; and Persephone, who’s been through the dark and came back stronger. Their stories feel like my own. It’s more than a tattoo—it’s a piece of who I am.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

I’ve stood at the crossroads, loved with everything I had, and survived what was meant to destroy me. I carry old stories and new strength. I’m not who I was—but every version of me lives here.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I won the $25,000 cash prize, I’d use it to give my family some breathing room. I’d finally invest in my writing, turn the stories in my heart into something real. I’d make sure my daughter has what she needs, and I’d carve out space to heal, to create, and to just be. It’s not just money—it’s a chance to live, not just survive.
