Right before I moved across the country I asked my mom for matching tattoos. One last thing I wanted to do with her before I moved. Even though she hadn’t had a tattoo in 20 years we went and got it together! It’s a double helix which represents DNA and the tree of life which she gave me life so we thought it was fitting.
