Tarot, nature, and the moon. My grandma who raised me, and was my best friend passed away in 2012, she was my best friend. Cards over the years have told me she was the sun, now I have to become the sun. It’s right on my sternum, because she’s my center. I have 4 tattoos for her now.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?My permanent armor wrapped in vivid hue. Stories etched where the light cuts through. Each piece a memory, each shade a mood. I’ve lived, and boldly too. I’ve bled for beauty, and bloomed through it. Turned pain into pigment, stories to skin. I wear my past loud, soft, raw, and unapologetic.
