My ink shows the development of my identity. All of my tattoos were spur of the moment and truly represent my state of mind when I got them.

Enter For FreeMy most recent tattoo was my first stick and poke. It’s a sling inspired by the biblical story of David and Goliath. It’s a reminder to myself to never back down against all odds and to use my tools wisely. I also got a rooster around the same time. This was inspired by Paul Bocuse, who also has one on his shoulder. The rooster is a profound symbol of French gastronomy. Much like Bocuse, I intend to both pay homage and have an impact on it. My sister drew the rooster in the shop in 5
If your ink could speak, what would it say?Firstly, it would ask me to stop getting burns on and near them. I’d like to think they would also hype me up. My ink is foremost for me to look at and appreciate. Some people may see it as a random collection of art, but each piece has significance to me and reminds me daily of who I am and who I want to be. My ink would say Armand is a dope human.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would pay my rent! Living in NYC on a line cook salary is a challenge to say the least. I would use it to make some fire meals to give to the homeless and hungry. I also have been trying to do more pop ups and get a stall in a farmer’s market, so the 25k would definitely jump start that as well. I want to sell ferments like kimchi, pickles, sourdough etc., soup and sandwiches!
