Enter For FreeMy most recent tattoo, the tribal turtle on my chest, is deeply personal. It represents my clan within my tribe, a constant reminder of my heritage and the strength of my ancestors. The turtle also honors my grandmother, whose traditional teachings and love have shaped me into who I am today. This tattoo is a tribute to her wisdom, guidance, and everything she’s done for me—carrying her spirit and the traditions of our people wherever I go.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?If my ink could speak, it would tell the story of resilience, culture, and transformation. It would speak of my journey as an Indigenous person, honoring my roots while embracing the strength I've gained through struggle. It would shout of the 200+ pounds lost, of reclaiming my body and my confidence. Above all, it would echo the teachings of my grandmother, carrying her wisdom, love, and the pride of my people with every step I take. This ink is my voice, my history, and my future.
What would you do with the $25,000?With $25,000, I’d buy a home for me and my dogs to create a safe, permanent space for us. I’d also invest in new supplies for the daycare I work at to enhance the kids' learning environment. Additionally, I’d upgrade the gym equipment for my students, providing them with better resources to stay active and healthy. This would help support their physical development and encourage a love for fitness, while also creating a stronger foundation for my own future.
