Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent tattoo is a plant on my left thumb. Its green! A green thumb because i love plants, botanicals, herbalism, and Earth! It also incorporates green as my fave color and my Earth sign (Taurus).

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

My ink would speak love to my loved ones memorialized. My ink would also be my daily reminder that I am ok in all my quirkiness and macabre. I have a tattoo on my wrist that says “ctrl” which reminds me that i am in control of my destiny and that i can shape my life any way i want to. It also reminds me of how far I’ve come from witnessing abuse as a child to surviving abuse.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000 I would definitely get MORE INK! I’m a single mother and times have been really hard for me financially to the point of me not being able to sleep and staying anxious throughout the day. It would really help me get my finances in order and allow me to continue my degree to earning my bachelor’s degree in visual arts. I have to set an example for my kids and show them that mommy did it! Finishing my degree would also open my world to new opportunities career wise.
