The death of who I was and rebirth of myself inspired my most recent tattoo, most of which was brought with the birth of my daughter. To me it symbolizes grit, and personal evolution towards my higher self. Along with a firm foundation in who I am now, and how she taught me to stand tall for both myself and for her, to honor her and hold reverence and respect for both of us and not settle for dimming my shine.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?That I know who I am and what I stand for, and what I’ve been through growing up and as an adult at the hands of others will never define me. That I’m proud and feel confidence in my journey of life.
