Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

I recently went through a loss of friendship. Before it all went bad, we had gone on a trip to Greece where I fell in love with a statue of the goddess Victoria. I wanted a reminder that it wasn't all bad but to leave it where it belongs, in the past. It's still beautiful but it's stuck in stone now and I need to keep living my life. Victory over my worst demons—my past self.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

I think it'd say, "there's more to her than meets the eye. She's got many chapters and they are still unfolding. Still being written. We're just a paragraph in the story of her life."

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would move out of my hometown. I've always wanted to travel the world and I know there's more I'm meant to do. I would use it to pave the path I'm on—go back to school for my degree and meet more people. And get more tattoos, obviously!
