Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

It was inspired from an art piece called “Space to Sea” by Juan Ma Orozco who creates many pieces for the band Stick Figure. This particular piece was a skateboard deck that I have hanging in my office. I had been wanting a full sleeve since my early 20’s and was 30 years old when I decided to fully pull the trigger on something I was absolutely sure of. The moment I saw “Space to Sea,” I knew it was exactly what I was looking for.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

Besides the vibrant colors and attention to detail, I believe what captures attention the most is the unification between the space, music and sea. If it could speak, it would say “The energy of music binds us all from the sky to the earth and all between.”

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would pay off a large part of my student loans from nursing school, put some away in my my kids savings accounts, and of course, use some for some new ink.
