Learn MoreMy most recent tattoo is on my hip/butt. It is an extension to my Native American warrior tattoo on my thigh. It depicts the gruesome truth about what Native Americans have gone through, historically: war, bloodshed, and gruesome losses.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?“I’ve been through pain, but I wear it with pride.” Each tattoo would whisper stories of loss, healing, laughter, and identity. They’d speak of strength born from struggle, of cultural roots that ground me, and of the joy in self-expression. My ink would remind others that it’s okay to grieve, to grow, and to carry both pain and beauty on your skin.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the majority of the money to create more resources & support for the clients I work with in the recovery community. As a substance abuse counselor & TCM, I see firsthand how many people lack access to basic needs, let alone creative outlets for healing. I’d invest in art therapy workshops, recovery toolkits, and perhaps even start a fund to help clients cover transportation or treatment-related expenses. Giving back is my calling, and this money could change lives.
