Autumn Vance

I wouldn't say my ink is entirely unique in design. Unique in why it's now on my body? For sure. Memories, nostalgia, and family.

What inspired your most recent tattoo?

I got two clear quartz, each tied with an herb as well as a mainly shaded "murder" but in mirror is "Redrum" only because I wanted to see "Redrum" when I looked at it vs what other people saw. The crystals and herbs represent my aunt and uncle who introduced me to crystals and their beauty, as well as the use of herbs in salves etc.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

Honestly I think they would say I'm stupid for putting half of what I have on my body with no rhyme or reason. If I can guide the narrative then they say there's something behind each tattoo. Whether that is love for someone, for a movie, or just to always have a memory of something specific.

What would you do with the $25,000?

25,000 would help my family and I greatly. Im helping care for my aging parents, as well as working full-time as an in-home caregiver, and helping my best friends fathers family business as needed. It's been my dream to get my parents into a home after losing the home I grew up in, then the fires on the Oregon coast set back any chance of moving them into the modular on my grandmother's property. 25,000 would help get that tore down and start a savings so hopefully I can get them into a home.
