Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent tattoo is a diving girl, inspired by classic traditional flash, my mom, and my aunts. They've always had a deep love for the ocean, swimming in it no matter the season. I've followed their lead and done the same. The tattoo is my way of honoring their strength, grace, and connection to the water as well as my own. It reminds me of where I come from and the power the ocean represents in my life.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

My tattoos reflect who I am. Some are silly and don't have meaning, some are in loving memory of those I've lost. Some just make me look bad ass. They represent my passions, the struggles I’ve overcome, and the beauty I find in life, even during hard times. They’re reminders of where I’ve been, what I love, and what I continue to fight for.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I had $25,000, it would be life-changing. I’m currently in graduate school, and I'm not working. That money would ease the financial pressure tremendously. I could cover tuition, pay for clinical travel, afford better resources, and reduce the debt I’m taking on. And most importantly, get more tattoos!
