Learn MoreMy healing journey and the fact that I didn't give up. Each of my tattoos is a reminder that everyday I get stronger, and that there is so much beauty left in this world. When I look at my ink I know that under some of it is Scars left on my body by others, but the world doesn't see them. I am more than my pain. When I see my ink the ink itself inspires me everyday to take control, never give up, and keep on going!
If your ink could speak, what would it say?My first two tattoos were by a guy off of MeetMe on a massage table in his apartment, and slowly as I have grown I've been able to work and get better ink that tells my story even more, but we are still just at the beginning! My inked stories would say You're unbreakable. We bear witness to trials and victory, scars and art! In vibrant colors, my ink delcairs strength and resilience! Pain becomes beauty, darkness turns to light. Each piece is of hope and love, shining through every line.
What would you do with the $25,000?I will be buying land and this will be the deposit. I am a first generation BIPOC female farmer, and my husband is born Deaf. We have been saving to start our own construction business, and expand my tiny micro farm. Where we live now we are lucky to have space to raise meat rabbits, chickens, and garden! We will thrive once we have land of our own. Furthermore I would love to finally open my Nonprofit Headquarters for NONI Nonprofit in honor of my baby sister NONI who was tragically murdered.
