As a former firefighter/EMT myself, my most recent tattoo was to honor. It was heartbreak. It was 343 souls who ran toward the flames when it felt like the world was falling apart. I inked their memory into my skin not just as a tribute, but as a promise to remember courage, to carry legacy, to never forget the price of selflessness.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?If my tattoo ink could speak, it would whisper stories written in pain and healing, in bold lines and quiet resilience. It would say, “I am more than art, I am memory, I am survival, I am truth etched into this skin”.
What would you do with the $25,000?With $25,000, I’d be able to transform my partner’s world. At just 25, she faces chronic pain and mobility struggles after her health started to decline shortly after we met. I’d use every cent to create comfort, have adaptive tools, and a safe, accessible space for her to live in. Helping her thrive wouldn’t just change her life, it would be the greatest win of mine. (Oh, and definitely a tattoo too haha).
