Most recently I got a pair of figs inspired by summer walks with my mom in California. We used to live in this teeny tiny town. About a block down was this house with huge, beautiful fig trees growing over their front fence. As we would walk by I would always reach up and pick her a few figs to eat as we strolled around town for the evening.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?I would describe my tattoos as mix and match with no particular style in mind or goal for overall look. That feels "correct" for me. The question I get asked most is what artist do I see. People often seem to expect me to name just one person. So when I start naming people off the go "Oh, wow." Then I get to give my favorite piece of advice. Find someone who's art you love, take them your idea, and you'll be amazed at what they create. My ink says explore.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use that to help invest in a piece of property. My dream is to have a hand in bringing some peace of mind to my community. If that could be safe housing and a garden I'll start there and see what I can grow.
