Learn MoreMy sister-in-law has ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease), and several family members have gotten the phrase “and still I rise” tattooed on. I changed it up a little, and got a rough Latin translation “Etiam Surgo” on my arm.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?I’ve had many journeys in my life, and a lot of ups, and plenty of downs. Each tattoo takes me back to a particular time, and I can see a version of who I was at that time. I love being able to share that with my kids, either before I became a dad, or since : sharing my life through them in perspectives that they may not know.
What would you do with the $25,000?Put some away for my kids’s college, donate some to one of my favorite charities , the Jed Foundation, which works to prevent teen suicide, and if there is a little left over, get some more ink!!
